Winter Wonderland

HELLO! I don't know if I have ever been colder than I have been this past week, but the cold can't stop us. It has been snowing quite a bit and I feel like I'm living in a little snow globe or something, it's kind of magical.

We had a much better week this week! Yesterday we had three people we are teaching come to church! We haven't had anyone come up until yesterday. Gyöngyi, Éva, and Klaudia all came. Klaudia is a darling 14 year old girl and we just started teaching her, her brother Martin, and her mom, Anikó. They are such a cute family! The elders actually helped them move apartments a couple weeks ago and then we were able to meet with them! Klaudia's mom and brother were sick, but we met up with Klaudia and walked to church with her. Yesterday was a testimony meeting and she even went up, she was the last one, and talked about how grateful she is for Christ and how prayer has made a difference in her life. She also talked about how she had shared the Book of Mormon with a friend a few days after we had met with them! So awesome. I have a lot of hope and faith for their family.

We have been able to meet with Gyöngyi more often again. I'm not sure what has changed, but she seems to have more time and she is reading from the Book of Mormon. She also shared her testimony during the meeting and it was just so uplifting to listen to how much the gospel really means to her. We are going to ask her to be baptized soon. Éva also came to church, she is a sweet quiet lady we have been meeting with.

Also, we met with Rózsa again, which was nice because we haven't seen her in a few weeks, but she is so great! She was found while tracting a month or so ago and she is so golden! It takes her a bit to understand and figure things out but she is always so willing to listen and act. She told us this week about how she really wants to find out through prayer for herself about the things we have been teaching her. We are hoping to escort her to church soon so that she can meet the members and feel more comfortable with someone coming over to her home.

We had splits with the sisters from Szeged. They came here and it was so so fun to be with them! We went to a fogyatékos otthona which is a special needs home and it was so so incredible! I loved being there and their faces lite up with joy when we walked it and one of the workers told them we were there to chat with them and play some games. We played several games and got to know them and read a few stories and poems to them. They sang to us and didn't want us to leave, but we will be back soon. It was my favorite day of the week! They have such sweet spirits and are so Christlike.

I hope you have a great week. I know that God lives and that He loves us and is so aware of us.                                    Mosiah 16:9  "He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkened; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death."

I love being a missionary here and love learning about Christ. I also love proclaiming His truths. I couldn't be happier to be here sharing this even if it's freezing cold.

Sok szeretettel, Schoendorfer Nővér
It's been snowing a lot, but were making the most of it!
It's so pretty here in the winter.

Feeding the birds,ducks and swans.

A pretty view from some of the buildings we were tracting.
